About the Quality of Life fund
As you probably know, Pat has been fighting courageously against Breast Cancer for around fifteen months now. Unfortunately, she has been recently diagnosed with secondary cancer to the brain. Pat is currently undergoing radiotherapy in Bristol, following which she can hope for a period of remission.
The shock has been devastating and we are yet to come to terms with it. Thankfully, our family and networks of friends is helping a great deal with this. I am working hard to find positives for Pat to look forward to. Sadly, we do not have the savings necessary to offer Pat trips away as incentives. She always wanted to take Felix to New York to see the twin towers. Perhaps with your help at least part of this dream can come true.
Financial, emotional and practical support
To this end, I am setting up a fund that people can donate to, anonymously if they want, so that, with your help, at least we can help Pat achieve some of her dreams, offering her the quality of life that she deserves.
Please don't feel under any obligation to give money that you cannot afford. Phone calls, messages, company at home and logistical support will all help a great deal.
